The clipboard, made useful

Find it before the thought disappears.

Text, links, images, files, and credentials stay organized without asking you to manage them.

01

Smart Search

Search the way you remember.

Use words, source apps, content types, recognized image text, and exclusions together. Results narrow immediately while native text editing shortcuts keep working normally.

  • Multi-term matching across content, metadata, and image text
  • Negative terms remove noise
  • Native Select All, Undo, and text-field behavior

02

A library, not a pile

Every kind of clip has its place.

Jump between text, links, images, files, and credentials. Favorites stay close, while unlimited history keeps your library intact.

  • Six focused content views
  • Forever history or a limit you choose
  • Source app and capture time at a glance

Images you can use

See the screenshot. Use the words inside it.

ClipVault pairs a large preview with locally recognized text. Search what the image says, then copy everything, one line, or a single word.

  • Side-by-side preview and wrapped recognized text
  • Copy a line, Shift-click a word, or copy it all
  • Original resolution stays visible on every image

04

Code and structured text

Recognize it. Refine it. Use it.

ClipVault identifies Markdown, JSON, YAML, and common source-code formats. Press Option-Return to adjust a command or snippet without changing the archived original.

  • Local classification never executes clipboard content
  • Native selection, Undo, Redo, Find, and syntax highlighting
  • Command-Return copies the edited draft

Questions, answered plainly

Before ClipVault touches your clipboard.

Trust starts with knowing what the app does—and what it does not do.

Does my clipboard leave the Mac?

No. ClipVault archive, search, classification, and image recognition stay local. Only purchase and license activation contact NovaSynapse; clipboard content is never sent.

Will it ask for a password every time it starts?

No. The default local key avoids a disruptive launch prompt. Optional macOS Keychain protection can be enabled in Settings.

How do I open ClipVault?

Press Option-Shift-W by default, choose the menu bar icon, or launch ClipVault from Spotlight. The shortcut is customizable.

Can I keep clipboard history forever?

Yes. Forever history is supported, along with custom retention and item limits when you prefer boundaries.

Which macOS versions are supported?

ClipVault supports macOS 12 Monterey and later on Apple silicon.
