Local data and offline use

BagGeek stores trips, packing lists, notes, templates and preferences on your device. No account is required. Core packing features work offline. The native app has no advertising, analytics or third-party crash-reporting SDKs and does not automatically send list contents or app usage to NovaSynapse. Widgets use shared local storage. Reminders are scheduled locally with your permission. Apple device backups and system diagnostics follow your Apple settings and policies.

Free access and purchases

One full trip is free. Further new or repeated trips require monthly, yearly or lifetime access through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple processes payments; BagGeek uses StoreKit to verify and restore purchase rights. It does not receive card details or attach trip contents to purchase checks. Purchases and explicit restoration require internet. A local flag records use of the free trip; deleting trips does not reset it. Existing lists remain usable after a subscription ends.

Export, website visits and support

You choose where to save or share text, PDFs and backups. Full backups contain lists and notes and are not encrypted by BagGeek. Diagnostic exports exclude trip names, item names and personal notes. External destinations follow their own policies. Opening a website page from the app connects to novasynapse.com in a browser with temporary website storage. No trip contents are attached. Web requests and any support messages or attachments you choose to send are handled under the NovaSynapse Privacy Policy.

Deletion and backup copies

Deleted trips can remain in Recently Deleted for up to 30 days. You can erase local data in Settings. Earlier backups and exported files may retain deleted information and must be deleted separately. Uninstalling the app or losing the device can cause loss of data that you have not backed up.
